A VÁLTOZÓ ELVÁRÁSOK, VÁLTOZÓ LEHETŐSÉGEK projekt abból az ambícióból fakadt, hogy a középiskolai oktatást a diákok elvárásainak, a 21. századi igényeknek megfelelően magas szinten tartsa. A projekt végrehajtói a legnaprakészebb tudás birtokába jussanak és azt megosztva mennél szélesebb szakmai körökben a középiskolai oktatást egy magasabb szintű, komplexebb folyamattá tegyék. A résztvevők szakmai és kapcsolati tőkét szerezzenek a célnyelvi országban, melyet megosztva másokkal tudják az iskolai tanítást-tanulást még professzionálisabb szintre emelni, mely az iskolai gyakorlatukat végző tanárjelöltek legmagasabb szintű felkészítését is elősegíti.
Az Óbudai Árpád Gimnáziumban több nyelvi tagozatos osztály működik, Tehetségpontként számtalan kompetenciafejlesztő feladatot hajt végre, az egyetemi hallgatók iskolai gyakorlati képzését végzi, testvériskolákkal közös projekteket valósít meg, illetve egyéb az iskolai életet az európai, illetve a globális színterekkel összekapcsoló tevékenységekben vesz részt. Mindezek megvalósításához elengedhetetlen, hogy a tanárok, vezetők, naprakész tájékozottsággal és szakmai professzionalizmussal rendelkezzenek.
A projektben hat tanár vesz részt, akiket megfontolt mérlegelés után választottak ki. Feladatuk a szakmai, célnyelvi fejlődésen kívül a nemzetközi kapcsolatok építése, iskolai szinten használható nyelvi és kulturális anyagok beszerzése, valamint mindezek megosztása más kollégákkal, szakmai fórumokkal.
A kiutazást megelőző jól meghatározott felkészülési lépések megtétele után a tanárok a célnyelvi országban részt vesznek a továbbképzésen, majd annak sikeres elvégzése után itthon disszeminációs csatornákon keresztül adják tovább a kint megszerzett tudást, tapasztalatot, hasznosítják a kapcsolati tőkét.
Az iskola várható eredményként reméli, hogy a tanári és tanulói motiváltsági szint emelkedni fog, az EU-s kompetenciák fejlődnek, és ezzel a diákok még magasabb szinten fognak teljesíteni. Az iskola nemzetközi kapcsolatainak bővülését követően a változó igényekre adekvátabban tud majd reagálni.
Hosszútávon az iskola a 21. századi elvárásoknak szeretne megfelelni, valamint aktívan részt kíván venni a nemzetközi és hazai folyamatok fő áramában. Az oktatás színvonalát folyamatosan emelve, a változó igényekre rugalmasan reagálva szeretné bővíteni a diákok és tanárok számára nyújtott lehetőségeket.
The CHANGING REQUIREMENTS CHANGING OPPORTUNITIES project is generated by the ambition to improve secondary education based on the requirements of students and to maintain the level of education to a high standard by complying with the demands of the 21st century. The project is aimed at delivering the most up-to-date knowledge and information to its participants and thus having done so facilitate the participants’ ability to share their knowledge with other colleagues and wider professional circles; this will consequently enhance the education to become a more complex process at a higher level. A further aim is that the participants will be able to build professional international relationships in the target country, and, through sharing with others, they will be able to improve the level of education at our school as well as give more professional training to trainee teachers and novices studying at our school.
In Óbudai Árpád Gimnázium there are a number of classes specialised in foreign languages, it has projects with foreign sister schools. We carry out the training of university trainee teachers, mentoring novices. We are also a Talentpoint centre (state delegated centres for mentoring talented students), in which we deliver several competence improving tasks. We also participate in activities connecting school life with European and global stages. To ensure that all the above can be implemented it is important to give up-to-date knowledge and information to teachers and leaders alike.
Six teachers are participating in the project, all chosen on a well-grounded basis. Their task is to improve their language skills and professional knowledge as well as acquire any usable professional and cultural materials. It is also the aim to explore new international relationships for our school and to share all the above with the colleagues and in wider circles through the dissemination channels.
Before travelling, firstly the actors must act according to the steps of the preparation plan. Secondly they must participate in the specific courses and fulfil their requirements. Thirdly, on their return to Hungary they must share the knowledge and material through the dissemination channels. Finally the participants must integrate the newly-acquired knowledge into their everyday work and foster communication and an exchange of ideas with their new international contacts.
The school anticipates an improvement in the motivation level of its students and teachers as well as an increase in EU competency levels, resulting in students performing at a higher level. Following the expansion of the school’s international relationships, our school will be able to provide a more adequate response to the changing requirements of the 21st century.
In the longer term, the school anticipates living up to the expectations of the changing world and actively participating in the mainstream of the national and international processes. By continuously developing the school’s level of education, it is aimed that the colleagues will be able to give relevant and flexible reactions to the changing requirements and also provide a wider range of opportunities for both students and teachers.
